Generate insights for an investigation
You have the following options to generate and further process insights:
Generate insights
Filters applied to the investigation are taken into account when generating insights.
Follow these steps:

Open an investigation and click
.
The side panel opens.

Select the Automated tab.
Insights are generated and listed in the side panel.
Specify metrics and attributes for insights generation
If you want to focus on specific insights, you can specify for which metrics and attributes you want to generate insights.
The following applies:

You need to select at least one metric and one attribute.

Your selection applies only to the current browser session and can't be saved.
To specify metrics and attributes, follow these steps:

In the Insights side panel, click
and select the metrics and attributes from the drop-down list. Metrics are listed on top of the list, attributes at the bottom.

You can type to search for metrics and attributes in the drop-down list.

Select at least one metric and one attribute.

Confirm with Apply.
Insights are generated based on your selection.
Save an insight to the insights management page
Follow these steps:

To save a generated insight, click Save on the insight, then Save to insights.
The insight is added to the Saved tab.

To assign a user, status, or value driver to your saved insight, open the Saved tab and click the insight. Read more on the insight settings in section Manage insights.

Apply your changes.
Changes are saved automatically. You can return to the Insights side panel with Back or close the side panel with
.
Save an insight as a widget
You can save a widget to the current or another investigation.
Follow these steps:

Click Save on the insight, then Save as widget.

Select a chapter or navigate to another investigation, then click Save.
The widget is created and you can further explore the data in it.
