Create filters

On investigations, you can create filters for the investigation, its chapters, and widgets.

On dashboards, you can create filters for the dashboard and widgets. Any filter on a dashboard applies to all pages of the dashboard.

You can always create multiple filters, read more in section Combine filters.

Filter a dashboard

Follow these steps:

  1. On your dashboard, click in the top navigation.

    The filter creation dialog opens.

  2. Select a filter type, read more in section Available filter types.

  3. Specify the data to include or exclude in the filter.

  4. Confirm with Save.

    The filter is created.

Filter an investigation

Follow these steps:

  1. On your investigation, click in the title of the investigation.

    The filter creation dialog opens.

  2. Select a filter type, read more in section Available filter types.

  3. Specify the data to include or exclude in the filter.

  4. Confirm with Save.

    The filter is created.

Filter a chapter in an investigation

Follow these steps:

  1. On your investigation, click in the title of the chapter.

    The filter creation dialog opens.

  2. Select a filter type, read more in section Available filter types.

  3. Specify the data to include or exclude in the filter.

  4. Confirm with Save.

    The filter is created.

Filter a widget

Follow these steps:

  1. On your widget, click and select Add filter.

    The filter creation dialog opens.

  2. Select a filter type, read more in section Available filter types.

  3. Specify the data to include or exclude in the filter.

  4. Confirm with Save.

    The filter is created.
